I have been a beta tester for a number of different versions. This one tops them all. It is very user friendly and you can design it to do as much as you want to fit your particular personal finances or for business. It may just swing you away from Quickbooks. It uncomplicates your business.

Quicken Home & Business 2010 is the best Quicken software that I have had the pleasure of using! Testing this software was really quite simple due to the fact that there just weren’t many bugs to be found. The folks at Intuit were great about listening to suggestions and were eager to hear about any problems that were identified. I really like the way that they have revised the way that your different accounts are presented to you. You can revise this presentation to make it look anyway that you would like. I didn’t think that Quicken could be easier to use than last year but I was wrong! Downloading data from my online accounts has never been easier. I really like the new and improved calendar for scheduling anything related to my finances! Quicken 2010 Home & Business is a great investment! Being a beta tester for this software was really fun and easy due to the solidness of the Quicken paltform!

Years ago, I selected Microsoft Money over Quicken because I found the Quicken interface very unfriendly. With Money now “gone,” I have been forced to switch to Quicken. It’s my worse nightmare. Tasks that used to take half an hour take three times as long because the interface is so unfriendly and confusing. The screen is like something out of a kindergarten finger painting project.

I also have discovered that it won’t let me make new categories — in Business Income, for example — which means I’ll be facing a mess at tax time. Money had its flaws, but it was a far, far better package.

If you can find an alternative, take it. I am considering building my own package in Excel.

Yes, Quicken has improved a bit, but I still have the problem of rewriting or transfering information to the calendar, especially the notes,i.e. birthdays, anniversary etc.

    Can someone help with this?
